YouTube the famous video streaming platform changed their monetization policy for the creators. The new policy will help the creators even more.
Good news for youtube long-form and short-form creators. Previously the creators can earn by the ads shown in their videos for that the creators must have at least 1,000 subscribers and either 4,000 watch hours in the past year or 10 million Shorts views in the last 90 days. As a beginner in youtube it's very difficult but now the problem get eased down.
YouTube New Monetization Rules
1. Creator must have 500 subscribers.
2. Creator must have uploaded at least 3 videos in past 90 days.
3. Creator must have completed 3,000 watch hours in the past year or 3 million shorts views in the last 90 days.
What will you get?
With the help of this new Monetization rules creators will get membership, super thank and shopping these three features unlocked. The ad revenue will not be unlocked with the new monetization policy. Basically we can say YouTube has made two steps of monetization.
Where will it be implemented?
According to some reports new monetization rules would be implemented in the US, UK, Canada, Taiwan and South Korea. It will be available to the other countries with Youtbe Partner Program soon. Till now there is no official report on the availability in India.
